About Doctor

I am Dr. Jyoti Chaudhary, currently serving as a Professor in the Department of Microbiology at DMC&H Ludhiana, with 15 years of teaching experience. My work spans all fields of diagnostic microbiology, including bacteriology, mycobacteriology, virology, immunology, mycology, parasitology, and molecular biology. I'm a member of the Indian Association of Medical Microbiology, ISHAM, and an executive member of the Gastrointestinal Infection Society of India. Additionally, I serve as the secretary of the Antimicrobial Working Group and am part of the Infection Control Committee, Biomedical Waste Management Committee, and DOTS Core Committee at DMC&H.

I’ve prepared and updated various documents such as the antibiotic policy, hospital infection control manual, SOPs, and lab manual. Certified in hospital infection control practices, I have over 25 publications in national and international journals and have attended more than 40 conferences. I also had the opportunity to deliver a guest lecture in London.
