PROFESSOR
Dr. Shalini Arora, MD is Associate Professor of Pharmacology. She has also done post graduate diploma in management and marketing management and is pursuing MBA. An alumnus of the institution. Dr. Shalini has received training in Educational Sciences Technology at a national level workshop, apart from various other training courses. She has 10 publications in various national and international journals. She has delivered 5 guest lectures in various symposia and has been resource faculty for workshops on clinical research methodology, elementary statistics, Microsoft Excel, thesis plan writing, educational science technology etc. Dr. Shalini has attended nearly 40 conferences & symposia presented 5 research papers at zonal and national level conferences and received the best paper award at a zonal conference of Indian Pharmacological Society.
She has been actively involved in the organization of over 20 symposia/workshops. She is a member of the editorial board of "Quarterly drug update" a life member of IMA and IPS. In addition to the professional responsibilities, she is also a part of Hospital Infection Control Committee, the Computer Cell and the Alumni Executive Committee. Presently moment, 4 MD candidates are working on their thesis under her guidance. Her areas of special interest include psychopharmacology and endocrine pharmacology |
