About Doctor

Birinder Singh Paul obtained his graduation and post-graduation degree from GMC, Patiala in merit positions. He acquired clinical skills and knowledge in Neurology at All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi under the able guidance and mentorship of Dr Madhuri Behari. He has been awarded the inspiring Neurologist of India Award (2019) by Economic Times. Birinder Singh Paul had the privilege of organizing national quiz at the Annual conference of IAN for five consecutive years (2015-18) and being runner up in International Neurology quiz (Tournament of Mind) for two consecutive years. He runs a botulinum (Botox) clinic once a week for challenging hyperkinetic movement disorders. In addition, his area of clinical interest and research is movement disorder (Parkinson’s disease).  

Having 21 years of teaching experience in field of Neurology, delivered lectured and chaired sessions in various zonal and national conferences, published in prestigious journals and take pride in teaching the budding generation of health care professionals. He is both DM and DNB Examiner; reviewer and editorial board member of prestigious neurology Journals. Birinder Singh Paul have 60 publications in national and international journals and 25 chapters in books. Birinder Singh Paul under the leadership of Dr Gagandeep Singh (HOD) and support of management is planning to start a comprehensive management of Parkinson disease including the Deep Brain stimulation (DBS) program in Dayanand Medical college & Hospital.  

Birinder Singh Paul believes in more personalized care for neurological disorders and seek compassionate attitude especially for the underprivilege ones with limited assess in managing the problems. He believes that owe his all-neurology knowledge to his teachers and mentors thus wanted to pass on the legacy of his neurological skills which he acquires over the years to the younger medical fraternity by indulging in teaching programs throughout my carrier.
