DMC&H, under Project ROSHANI, in collaboration with Bhartiya Vikas Parishad, Malerkotla, conducted School Eye Screening Camps in Malerkotla on 30th October, 3rd
November, and 10th November 2025, followed by a comprehensive Eye Health Camp on 17th November 2025. The camps were led by Dr. Priyanka Arora, Project head & Professor of Eye, DMC&H.
A total of 1,044 students were screened; 192 were detected with refractive errors, 6 were identified with squint, 120 were prescribed spectacles, and 39 students received free glasses on the spot.
Speaking on this initiative, Sh. Bipin Gupta, Secretary, DMC&H Managing Society, emphasized that healthy vision plays a crucial role in every child’s education and future, and DMC&H remains committed to providing accessible care to all.
Dr. G. S. Wander, Principal DMC&H, expressed that through Project Roshani, DMC&H aims to support children in achieving their full potential by ensuring clear vision and proper eye care.
